It was 1998 then. I was looking for a bride who will be crazy enough to allow us to cover their wedding. I know that I am pretty good with photography but this will be the first time that I will be covering a wedding. Then suddenly Leslie told me that our maid of honor, Jojo Versoza, is getting married to Mitch. Immediately, we volunteered to be her back-up photographer. It was just me and Leslie that time taking the wedding pictures. We told Jojo that time that if she and Mitch (her husband) likes the picture then they can buy it, if not, then they could just return it to us. Fortunately, they chose the former. That was our very first wedding photography coverage.

Fast forward to today, Jojo’s sister, Nina is getting married to a namesake — Jojo Lopez. Yes, we have covered countless weddings but this one is likewise special. First because it was our opportunity to show our appreciation to the Versoza family and Jojo and Nina particularly of what we have become since that very first coverage. Additionally, we will showcase to the couple another venture that we have just started — VIDEOGRAPHY.

This day reminds me of that very same moment. Still jitters beset every now and then. However, with the confidence that Mitch and Jojo gave us before in photography and now the same confidence given by Jojo and Nina on our videography, surely we can hurdle all the challenges.

Here is the movingpictures slideshow presentation we did which was well applauded by the audience. The upbeat “Can’t Let It Go” of the GooGoo Dolls captured the very relaxed preparation, the solemn ceremony and the romantic pictorials.

With video now being offered to complement our photography, we are now one of the few that offers both photography slideshow and video onsite. Not that I am not having too much pressure from my corporate functions but I think me and my team are basically “masochists”. “I’ve Got You” of McFly captured the frenetic phase of the event. This is also the very first time that we break-in our Glidecam 2000.

I was behind the maid of honor who was busy with her speech when I suddenly saw Jojo nibbling … err… kissing Nina’s shoulder.

Both mothers I believed were comparing notes when this shot was taken.

Nina’s sister, Jojo, can’t come home during the event but her video message was very touching and emotional.
