NICK & GLOVIE WEDDING

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010

Preparation: Sofitel
Church: Shrine of Jesus
Reception: Dragon Gate

We have started offering our video since 2007 and we have quite booked a decent number of clients. As we said before, we are mainly photographers but started to provide additional service as an alternative to other mainstream videographers. Videographers like Jason Magbanua, Threelogy, Bob Nicolas are very close friends and served as an inspiration to us to come up with this. Again, this offer is just to complement our photography and offered to those who opt to talk to just one person for both photo and video services. It is not just a make-do video but we assure you that we are as good as the rest and only requires a little dent on your wallet.

Here is one of our products. This impressed lots of our Chinoy friends during Nick and Glovie’s wedding last December 13, 2009. The prenup provided an awesome preview to the wedding onsite.

Enjoy.

FOR BRIDES: ARE YOU REALLY PREPARED?

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

We have covered countless wedding preparations and aside from the mandatory pictures of the bridal accessories, one of the most important shoots would be the bridal pictorial. Most of the time, the bride would be wearing the hotel robe. Others decide to buy their own satin robes or their own summer dress. I thought all of these are quite interesting until last Saturday.

Pola was wearing a robe and I thought it will be the usual and typical bridal pictorial. Quite surprised when she revealed the dress underneath the robe. The garment was more of a night dress, white, very light and relaxing. As you know, we are very used to boudoir shots and I thought we can apply some to this coverage.

The result was very interesting. The pictures are not overboard but clearly exudes sensuality. I just thought that shouldn’t brides pictorial be like this. You are getting married and taking a great leap forward. Shouldn’t the pictorial be more daring. You are getting married maybe once in your lifetime, shouldn’t you try to be more daring this time?

ARJOHN & KAY PRENUP

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Kay and Arjohn love pictures but they are not used to doing it with professional photographers. Seems to be too daunting they said. The first few shots had been a little awkward but they adjusted quite fast. The lush foliage of Sonya’s Garden provided a homey backdrop to the couple’s shoot.

JONATHAN & MARY ANNE WEDDING

Monday, November 16th, 2009

Preparation: Peninsula Manila
Church: Santuario de San Antonio
Reception: Rigodon Ballroom, Peninsula Manila
Coordinator: Getting Married by Kutchie Zaldarriaga

It was in 2003 when Mary Anne, a colleague in the credit card industry, that I should cover her wedding. I think she learned that I am a photographer and have been impressed with my photographs (…. i hope). Mary Anne is a go-getter and a true corporate person… truly hardworking and I can’t imagine were she will put the dating part in her busy schedule. Every time that we see each other she keeps on reminding me about my commitment and being a true friend I just nod but I don’t even know when will it be. Jokingly, I always tell her that it should be soon before my hand starts shaking.

Years passed then suddenly in late 2007, Mary Anne called me for an appointment. There I met Jonathan her fiance. This was the first time I met Jonathan and I learned about their story. They were gradeschool mates in San Agustin. Separated when Jonathan went to the US and just suddenly had the chance to meet again. Everything fell into place and now planning for their forthcoming wedding.

Now, here we are at the much awaited wedding. I tell you it is worth all the wait.
